We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as identity documents, health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or criminal records) unless it is reasonably necessary for our functions and you have consented to its collection. WEL’s services are not directed at children under the age of 18.  If you are under 18 years of age, please do not provide us with any personal information without parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to WEL, please contact us at info@welcorp.com<\/a> and we will take steps to remove that information promptly.<\/p>\n

4.1 Third Parties<\/h4>\n

5. Overseas Disclosure<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

We currently do not disclose your personal information to recipients outside of Australia as part of our standard operations. All data storage is currently within Australian cloud hosting services.<\/p>\n

Where personal information is transferred or accessible outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient handles your information in accordance with the APPs, or we otherwise comply with APP 8.<\/p>\n

6. Data Retention<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

We retain your personal information for a minimum of 7 years from the date of collection or last interaction, in accordance with our legal and regulatory obligations.<\/p>\n

After this period, or when we no longer require your information for the purposes for which it was collected, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information in a secure manner.<\/p>\n

You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time (subject to our legal retention obligations) by contacting us using the details in Section 15.<\/p>\n

8. Notifiable Data Breaches<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

We are subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act. WEL and its associated data contractors, list providers, and global carriers support the protection of consumers’ privacy rights. All customers using WEL services must comply with the Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles, and all applicable direct marketing legislation.<\/p>\n

By registering as a WEL customer and using WEL services, you agree to:<\/p>\n

\u2022        <\/span>Honour all opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly<\/p>\n

\u2022        <\/span>Clearly identify yourself as the sender in all communications<\/p>\n

\u2022        <\/span>Target only those customers who would genuinely benefit from or appreciate your information<\/p>\n

\u2022        <\/span>Comply with the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA) Code of Practice, Spam Act 2003 and any other applicable industry guidelines<\/p>\n

WEL has systems in place to ensure all recipients are clearly advised of their right to opt out from further communications. WEL will, on receipt of a valid suppression request, promptly suppress the relevant contact details from distribution lists.<\/p>\n

WEL, its contractors, list providers, and carriers operate within industry guidelines and adopt best practice procedures, policies, and privacy legislation in every country where WEL has a presence.<\/span><\/p>\n
